Disney World Unveils New Animal Kingdom Menu Items and 2026 Resort Policy Changes

Disney World is updating its food offerings at Animal Kingdom. New quick‑service items include a Korean Barbecue Sandwich with Impossible Beef at Flame Tree BBQ, Spicy Pork Steamed "Pods," Specialty Chai Cold Brew, and Pandoran Sunrise with Rum at Satu'li Canteen, and Creamy Pesto Chicken Pasta and Marble Swirled Cheesecake at Pizzafari. Table‑service venue Tiffins adds two alcoholic drinks: a Yuzu Amarillo Cocktail and an Orange Carajillo.

The resort side of the park is also seeing changes slated for 2026. Disney now limits buses and boats leaving Disney Springs to guests staying at Disney Resort hotels or those with qualifying reservations, a move aimed at reducing congestion. The iconic gingerbread house at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has been permanently discontinued, with the park stating, "the famous gingerbread house inside Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has been permanently discontinued." Additionally, several Moderate Resorts will simplify room categories to Standard, Preferred, or King Bedrooms, while ongoing refurbishments refresh guest rooms across the portfolio.
