Disney World updates Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT

Walt Disney World is implementing several changes to the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction at EPCOT.

Starting November 25, the ride will feature a seasonal holiday soundtrack running through January 12, 2027. Instead of the standard six-song classic rock playlist, riders will hear one of three seasonal tracks: ‘It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year’ by Andy Williams, ‘Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24’ by Trans-Siberian Orchestra, or ‘Christmas Wrapping’ by The Waitresses.

Additionally, Disney has modified the ride's pre-show by removing a pause following a line spoken by the character Tal Marik. This edit eliminates a gap that guests previously used to shout responses at the screen, a practice that often resulted in polarizing or humorous remarks from the audience.
