Disney World will not relocate from Florida

The Walt Disney Company is not relocating its Walt Disney World Resort from Florida, despite ongoing political tensions and legal disputes with the state government. While the company has faced challenges following its opposition to Florida's Parental Rights in Education Act, a full relocation is considered economically and logistically impractical.

Conflict arose after the Florida legislature dissolved the Reedy Creek Improvement District, a special taxing district that granted Disney significant autonomy over infrastructure and services. It has since been replaced by the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District, which is controlled by governor-appointed officials. While Disney is not leaving the state, the company is reportedly reassessing future investments and resource allocation in Florida.
