Disneyland demolishes entrance ticket booths for expansion
Disneyland Resort has completed the demolition of four original ticket booths located in the Esplanade between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. This removal marks a significant milestone in the DisneylandForward expansion project.
The demolition clears space for a new pedestrian bridge that will connect the parks to a forthcoming parking structure and transportation hub. Once finished, the new garage is expected to provide 6,000 parking spaces, 302 electric vehicle charging stations, a dedicated security office, and a centralized hub for shuttles and rideshare services.
This infrastructure is intended to accommodate growing crowds as the resort undergoes major updates, including an overhaul of Tomorrowland and the introduction of new attractions themed to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avatar, and Coco. While the original booths are gone, guests can still purchase tickets in person at two remaining booths or via the Lost & Found Office.
