Disneyland guest experiences breathing struggle after inhaling cocktail foam

A Disneyland Resort guest has gone viral on TikTok after experiencing a breathing struggle while consuming a cocktail at Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The guest, known as Mylee (@anaamyle), shared footage of herself consuming the “Fuzzy Tauntaun,” a drink topped with a signature “Buzz Button Tingling” foam.

The foam is made from buzz button flowers containing spilanthol, an ingredient designed to cause a harmless tingling and numbing sensation on the lips and tongue. During the video, Mylee accidentally inhaled the foam through her nostrils, leading to a distressing reaction. She described the sensation as feeling like “needles stabbing” her throat and lungs, noting that she “genuinely could not breathe.”

Viewers on social media speculated that the incident may have been a laryngospasm, a condition where vocal cords seize up and temporarily prevent breathing. While the video has garnered millions of views, comments from users have been divided between those criticizing the drink's composition and those suggesting the reaction was due to improper consumption.
