Disneyland influencer Yoatzi Castro allegedly groped during livestream

Influencer and livestreamer Yoatzi Castro was allegedly groped while filming at Disneyland in Anaheim on September 23. Castro, who has approximately 800,000 Instagram followers, stated she was posing for photos with friends near the Sleeping Beauty Castle when the incident occurred.

Because Castro was livestreaming at the time, the encounter was captured on video. Castro reported the incident to Disneyland security, who located the suspect and contacted the Anaheim Police Department. The individual, identified as Christopher Poitras, was arrested on suspicion of sexual battery. Following the arrest, Poitras was cited and released.

Castro expressed feeling “insanely violated” and noted that the livestream provided essential evidence of the encounter. She confirmed her intention to press charges following the incident.
