Disneyland Paris announces temporary closure of The Lion King show

Disneyland Paris has confirmed that the stage production ‘The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands’ will undergo a temporary closure. The show, which debuted in 2019 at the Frontierland Theater, is scheduled to begin its break on January 7, 2027.

Final performances before the hiatus will take place on January 6, with the production expected to resume on February 13, 2027. The 30-minute show utilizes live singing, dancing, drumming, and acrobatics to retell Simba’s journey without spoken dialogue.

The Frontierland Theater, which hosts the production, is noted as the largest theater stage at Disneyland Paris. This scheduled break will last for just over five weeks.
