Disneyland Paris closes Colonel Hathi’s restaurant for refurbishment

Colonel Hathi’s, a quick-service restaurant located in Adventureland at Disneyland Park, has closed for refurbishment. The dining establishment is themed after the character Hathi from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ ‘The Jungle Book’ and the original stories by Rudyard Kipling.

Disneyland Paris Resort confirmed the closure, with a scheduled reopening set for October 15. While the resort has not released specific details regarding the scope of the work, construction walls and bilingual signage in French and English have been erected at the site. Visitors and fans have noted the deterioration of certain features, such as the restaurant's waterfall, and have expressed interest in potential upgrades like new ordering kiosks or menu changes.
