Disneyland Paris warehouse fire Chessy emergency response smoke plume

A large fire broke out on Monday evening in a computer equipment warehouse located in Chessy, France, a few kilometers from the Disneyland Paris Resort. The blaze, which reportedly began around 8:00 p.m., sent thick black smoke and orange flames into the sky, visible from Sleeping Beauty Castle and throughout the theme park.

Emergency services responded to the scene with at least 85 firefighters and 30 emergency vehicles. While the smoke caused alarm and confusion among thousands of guests at the resort, the fire was located north of the park and Disney Village.
