Disneyland Paris to reimagine Space Mountain in 2027

Walt Disney Imagineering has announced plans to reimagine Space Mountain at Disneyland Paris, transitioning the attraction from its current Star Wars-themed Hyperspace Mountain back to a version of its original storyline titled ‘Space Mountain – De la Terre à la Lune’.

The overhaul is scheduled to begin at the end of 2027 and will include technical maintenance, new indoor sets, props, an enhanced queue, and updated special effects. The project aims to bring back the original theme, allowing guests to experience the iconic score by Steve Bramson and view the roller coaster trains from the queue.

Preparations are already underway, with reports indicating that some exterior theming has been removed from the cannon structure on the attraction building in Discoveryland.
