Disneyland announced that the character‑dining experience at the Plaza Inn restaurant will be temporarily unavailable starting August 17, 2026, instead of the previously indicated August 10. The pause is expected to end in late September, giving guests visiting between August 10 and August 16 an additional week to enjoy the Minnie & Friends breakfast.

The notice clarifies that only the character‑dining service is affected; the Plaza Inn restaurant itself remains open for its regular lunch and dinner offerings. Guests with existing reservations are advised to review their plans in the Disneyland app and modify reservations if needed.
