Disneyland influencer arrested after alleged sexual battery during livestream
A man was arrested at Disneyland in Anaheim following an alleged sexual assault of social media influencer Yoatzi Castro. The incident occurred while Castro was livestreaming on Twitch in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Video footage captured the encounter, showing a man walking past Castro before she reacted to being groped. Castro confronted the individual, striking him in the back as she shouted accusations. Disneyland security located the suspect and contacted the Anaheim Police Department.
The suspect, identified by Castro as Christopher Poitras, was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor sexual battery. According to Anaheim Police spokesperson Eric Anderson, the man was cited and released that same evening. An investigation is ongoing, and a court date is yet to be determined.
