Disney's Animal Kingdom reports battery incident

The Orange County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call at 10:08 a.m. on October 5 regarding a battery incident at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park. The report was logged as “Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone).”

While scanner reports and social media posts suggest the incident occurred near a walkway on the edge of the park, the exact location remains uncertain due to law enforcement tracking calls to generic addresses for the resort properties.

It is currently unknown how many individuals were involved, the extent of any injuries, or whether those involved were park guests or Disney cast members. Neither Walt Disney World Resort nor the Orange County Sheriff's Office has issued a formal statement regarding the incident. Park operations continued as normal following the response.
