Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas to Close Lobby for Major Renovation Aug‑Nov 2026

Disney is set to undertake a large‑scale refurbishment of the Kidani Village lobby at its Animal Kingdom Villas. The main lobby and primary entrance will close from 17 August through 9 October 2026, with check‑in shifted to the Palace Library. A shorter closure of the Johari Treasures gift shop will run from 17 August to 28 August, reopening on 29 August.

Subsequent phases will affect the north‑side lobby corridor (28 September‑9 October) and the south‑side lobby corridor (26 October‑6 November). The latter phase will also temporarily shut the Community Hall, Safari So Good arcade, laundry facilities, lobby restrooms and the outdoor terrace observation deck. Guests staying at Kidani Village during these periods may experience construction noise and limited access to affected amenities.
