Disney's Enfeitiçadas: Bem-vindos ao Hexe announces cast and visual intent

Disney has announced details regarding its upcoming animated feature, ‘Enfeitiçadas: Bem-vindos ao Hexe’, which is scheduled for release in Brazilian cinemas on November 26, 2026. Brazilian actress Letícia Spiller has been confirmed for the local dubbing cast, where she will voice the character Rainha Celeste.

The film follows Billie, an unconventional teenager who discovers magical abilities and travels to the magical realm of Hexe. The production features an original voice cast including Hailee Steinfeld, Rashida Jones, Tracey Ullman, and Stephen Fry.

Addressing recent viewer speculation, directors Fawn Veerasunthorn and Jason Hand clarified that the centralized framing observed in the film’s teaser was a deliberate artistic choice rather than an attempt to optimize content for vertical social media platforms like TikTok. The directors explained that the restrictive composition reflects the protagonist's initial feelings of being trapped and limited by her environment, a visual style intended to expand as the character's journey progresses.
