Disney’s Hollywood Studios hit-and-run reported

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported hit-and-run at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on the morning of Monday, September 28. The call was logged at approximately 9:10 a.m.

While scanner reports and social media posts associated with the incident pinpointed a location near Echo Lake within the park, it is noted that scanner coordinates for Walt Disney World properties often use generic addresses. It is suspected the incident may have occurred in a nearby roadway or parking lot rather than the center of the theme park.

As of the latest reports, neither the Orange County Sheriff’s Office nor Walt Disney World Resort has issued an official statement. Information regarding potential injuries, the number of vehicles involved, and whether the individuals affected were guests or employees remains unavailable.
