Disney's Hollywood Studios opens an hour early on May 26 for new ride debut

Disney announced that Hollywood Studios in Orlando will open at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, an hour earlier than its regular 9 a.m. start. Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels with Early Entry will be able to enter the park at 7:30 a.m., 30 minutes earlier than the usual early‑entry time.

The change coincides with the public debut of the re‑imagined Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets and the launch of Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!. The attraction’s preview sold out quickly, and the date falls the day after Memorial Day, when attendance is already high. Disney expects crowds to be intense, and the extra hour offers a free way for visitors to beat standby lines that would otherwise be long, especially as Lightning‑Lane pricing is already high for the day.
