Disney's Hollywood Studios Unveils Muppet-Themed Roller Coaster and New Play Areas

Disney’s Hollywood Studios reopened the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster with a new Muppet theme, adding Jim Henson memorabilia and Easter‑egg details throughout the ride and queue. The attraction debuted as part of the park’s Cool Kids’ Summer celebration.

Imagineers also previewed three upcoming projects slated for later this summer. The Magic of Disney Animation will feature interactive experiences such as Off the Page!, Olaf Draws! and the Once Upon a Studio Theater. Monstropolis will transform part of the park into an immersive Monsters, Inc.‑inspired city with a Department of Human/Monster Relations storyline. Drawn to Wonderland, an indoor playground inspired by Mary Blair’s art, will offer whimsical equipment and a Tulgey Wood area with the Mad Hatter’s house.
