Display technology advances with TCL Mini LED and Bugatti Micro-LED
Display technology manufacturers are advancing high-end television standards through new LED innovations. TCL has introduced SQD-Mini LED technology, which integrates Mini LED backlighting with Super Quantum Dot materials. This platform aims to solve the challenge of maintaining color accuracy at high brightness levels, targeting up to 10,000 nits of peak brightness and over 20,000 local dimming zones.
In the ultra-luxury segment, Austrian company C Seed has launched the Bugatti N1, a Micro-LED television inspired by the Bugatti Tourbillon. Available in 110 and 137-inch models, the TV features 4K resolution and 1,000 nits of brightness. The unit is designed to fold into a storage box within 45 seconds and is constructed from carbon fiber and aluminum. The Bugatti N1 carries a starting price of $400,000.
