Display manufacturers debut new OLED and Mini-LED technologies at IFA 2026

Major display manufacturers are unveiling advanced screen technologies at IFA 2026. TCL is showcasing ultra-thin 'art' TVs and Inkjet OLED (IJP OLED) technology, which uses a printing method to create organic layers for thinner and more flexible displays, including a 65-inch foldable model.

Hisense has introduced the world’s first RGB Mini-LED TV featuring Cyan as a fourth light color via Chromagic 2.0 technology, aiming to expand color gamut coverage. LG Electronics is also presenting its Micro RGB evo and Mini RGB evo models, though some reports note that lower-end Mini RGB models utilize edge-LED rather than full-surface local dimming.

In the monitor sector, MSI has announced the PRO MAX 341QPXW14G, a 34-inch ultrawide QD-OLED monitor specifically optimized for macOS workflows with dedicated integration features. Philips Evnia has released the 34M2C5601QA, a 34-inch curved ultrawide gaming monitor featuring a 200Hz refresh rate and AI-powered Ambiglow technology. Additionally, LG has launched the Magnit Gen 2 Micro LED display in the US market, designed for high-end commercial and residential installations.

Consumer options also include budget-friendly entries such as the Thomson 55-inch QD-Mini LED TV, which offers 4K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
