Display technology updates: Vidda projectors and TCL/VIZIO TV deals

Several consumer electronics manufacturers are offering high-specification display technology at various price points.

Vidda has introduced the C5 Pro projector, which utilizes a triple-color laser light source and Dual QuaLas42 laser architecture. The device features 4K UHD imaging, 3200 CVIA brightness, and supports image projections ranging from 80 to 150 inches, with capabilities up to 300 inches.

In the television market, TCL is offering several large-format options. The 98-inch 98QM9K features Mini LED QLED technology with 6,000 local dimming zones and Google TV. A more budget-friendly 98-inch 98F8D model provides a 144Hz refresh rate and Fire TV integration using direct LED backlighting. Additionally, the 75-inch 75F7D offers QLED 4K resolution with Fire TV for under $700.

VIZIO is targeting smaller spaces with the 43-inch VQM43C, a Mini LED 4K TV that includes Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support at a budget-friendly price point.
