District-level youth festivals scheduled in Ambikapur and Sidhi

District-level youth festivals are set to take place in Ambikapur and Sidhi to promote cultural exchange and national unity among young people.

In Ambikapur, the event will be held on October 27 at the Government PG College Auditorium. Participants aged 15 to 29 can compete in categories including folk dance, folk songs, painting, poetry writing, street plays, and a creative youth reel challenge. A special ‘Viksit Bharat Challenge Track’ will focus on tribal leadership, natural resources, and inclusive development, involving an online quiz and essay presentation via the My Bharat portal.

In Sidhi, the festival is scheduled for October 30 at the Devi Ahilyabai Auditorium of the Kanya Mahavidyalaya. The competition includes group folk dance, group folk songs, street plays, poetry writing, and painting. Participants must register through the My Bharat Portal and provide necessary documentation, such as Aadhaar cards and birth certificates. Those who participated in last year's cultural activities are ineligible to compete this year.
