Distrito Federal leads Central-West in electoral propaganda complaints

The Distrito Federal has recorded 247 complaints of electoral propaganda irregularities via the Pardal application during the first ten days of the campaign. This figure exceeds the combined total of complaints from all other states in the Central-West region of Brazil, which totaled 189.

Most reports in the Federal District concern candidates for district deputy (147) and federal deputy (47). The most frequent type of irregularity involves public spaces, such as the improper use of flags and campaign tables, accounting for 79 reports. Other common complaints include the use of sound cars and irregular internet propaganda.

Judge Geilza Diniz of the Regional Electoral Court of the Distrito Federal (TRE-DF) stated that all complaints will be analyzed and may result in notifications for regularization or formal electoral representations. Nationally, the Pardal app has recorded 5,068 complaints since the start of the campaign.
