Disturbed guitarist Dan Donegan announces new album is recorded
Disturbed guitarist Dan Donegan has confirmed that the band's follow-up to 2022's 'Divisive' is essentially complete. The band is currently working with management to determine the optimal release timeframe, aiming to coordinate the launch with their upcoming touring schedule.
Donegan indicated that a release plan is being developed around the band's scheduled performances in New Zealand, Australia, and Asia in April and May 2027. The band hopes to release at least one new single before those dates. The members are scheduled to meet in Los Angeles for a final review of the material to decide if any adjustments are necessary before the official announcement.
Musically, the new material is expected to blend the band's signature aggressive rhythms and syncopated elements with melodic vocals. Donegan noted that the album will feature a diverse sound, potentially incorporating riffs inspired by old demos from the late 1990s while maintaining the band's evolving style.
