Ditonellapiaga Performs Impromptu Concert for Residents of Spin Time Occupied Building in Rome

Italian singer‑songwriter Ditonellapiaga held an impromptu street concert on the evening of 5 August in front of the Spin Time occupied building on via Santa Croce in Gerusalemme, Rome. The performance was aimed at supporting roughly 400 families living in tents and on makeshift beds after the building was evacuated following a fire on the night of 29‑30 July and subsequently placed under seizure.

During the set she sang several of her own songs, including the Sanremo entries “Che fastidio!” and “Chimica”, and told the crowd she was there because she believes in the values of hospitality, solidarity and collective support that the space represents. The concert forms part of a broader mobilisation demanding a permanent solution for the displaced residents of the occupied building.
