DITP launches AI training program for Thai entrepreneurs

The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), through the New Entrepreneur Academy (NEA), organized a training program titled ‘Megatrend Arrow: Flipping the Business Game, Accelerating with AI’ in Songkhla, Thailand. Held on August 20–21, 2026, the initiative aimed to upskill and reskill SMEs, MSMEs, and new entrepreneurs to navigate the digital global economy.

The program focused on integrating artificial intelligence and digital technologies into business operations, including consumer data analysis, marketing planning, product development, cost management, and international market expansion. Participants engaged in workshops to apply AI tools to real-world business challenges, aiming to increase productivity, reduce costs, and enhance long-term competitiveness.

Beyond technical skills, the project encouraged entrepreneurs to use data-driven decision-making, brand building, and online sales channels to reach international markets. The NEA intends to continue developing knowledge that aligns with global trade trends to help Thai businesses leverage technology for growth and economic stability.
