Ditta Artigianale expands in Milan as Lyon's Café Terroir highlights traditional gastronomy

Ditta Artigianale, the Florentine coffee roastery founded by Francesco Sanapo and Patrick Hoffer, has opened its second location in Milan. Situated in the Gae Aulenti area on via Vincenzo Capelli, the new cafe features modernist design by the q-bic studio and focuses on specialty coffee sourced from ethical producers in regions such as Colombia, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Honduras.

The establishment offers an international food menu, including French croissants, cinnamon buns, avocado toast, and Florentine eggs Benedict. The coffee program includes various extraction techniques like V60 and Aeropress, alongside signature drinks such as the ‘Coffee misù’.

In Lyon, Café Terroir is gaining attention for its approach to traditional French gastronomy. The restaurant emphasizes local artisanal ingredients, such as Bresse chicken, and focuses on technical precision and professional service. The establishment features an extensive wine list ranging from renowned Chateaux to small-scale vignerons, aiming to provide an authentic hospitality experience through a ‘less is more’ philosophy.
