Diunsa opens fourth San Pedro Sula store

Diunsa has opened its fourth store in San Pedro Sula, located on 7 Calle in the Barrio Suyapa neighborhood. This marks the 21st location for the Honduran department store chain.

The new facility covers a total construction area of 15,000 square meters and includes a 5,000 square meter modern store. The complex features a commercial gallery with a bank, pharmacy, restaurants, a supermarket, and a party supply store. The retail space offers products across various categories, including technology, electronics, sports, home goods, appliances, and beauty products.

According to Mario Roberto Faraj, executive president of Diunsa, the expansion reflects the company's commitment to Honduras. The project is expected to generate 100 direct jobs and approximately 400 indirect jobs. The building incorporates sustainable design principles, utilizing high-efficiency energy systems and planned solar power generation.
