Diver injured in great white shark attack off Quebec coast

A diver was hospitalized after being attacked by a great white shark off the Gaspé coast in Percé, Quebec, on Wednesday morning. The incident occurred during a diving activity involving the commercial firm Plongée Percé.

Emergency response measures were initiated immediately, and the individual received first aid on-site before being transported to a hospital for further evaluation. Following the encounter, Plongée Percé announced it is suspending all diving activities for the remainder of the season.
