Diverse theatrical premieres in Barcelona and Bilbao

Theatrical seasons in Barcelona and Bilbao are seeing a wide variety of premieres ranging from classical adaptations to experimental works.

In Barcelona, Teatre Goya is presenting ‘Panorama des del pont’, an adaptation of Arthur Miller’s classic set in 1955 Brooklyn. Teatre Romea is hosting ‘Todos los ángeles alzaron el vuelo’ by the company La Zaranda, which explores human vulnerability through poetic language. Additionally, Teatre Tantarantana is featuring ‘Nosaltres, els sense nom’.

In the Basque Country, Bilbao’s Teatro Arriaga will host ‘La mort i la primavera’, a dance piece by La Veronal based on the novel by Mercé Rodoreda. Other notable productions include a version of ‘El Lazarillo de Tormes’ at Kultur Leioa, the Basque-language black comedy musical ‘RIP’ in Getxo, and the production ‘Protocolo’ at the BBK sala in Bilbao. Other regional performances include ‘AA Aita’ in Barakaldo and ‘Mihura el último comediógrafo’ in Getxo.
