Divinópolis continues Reinado Festivals 2026 in Nova Fortaleza II

The Reinado Festivals 2026 continue this weekend in the Nova Fortaleza II community of Divinópolis. Organized by the Brotherhood of Our Lady of the Rosary and Saint Benedict, the festivities run from Friday, September 25, to Sunday, September 27.

The schedule includes the raising of patron banners on Friday and Saturday, followed by a large celebration on Sunday featuring the arrival of the Guards, a communal lunch, and a closing mass and procession. These festivals are part of Divinópolis’s cultural and religious calendar, aimed at preserving ancestral traditions through music, processions, and devotion.

Following the Nova Fortaleza II event, further celebrations are scheduled for October in Dona Quita, Vila Romana, Interlagos, and the city center.
