Divinópolis hosts skateboarding championship for diverse age groups

A skateboarding championship celebrating the 38th anniversary of the Horto Florestal will take place this Sunday, August 16, at Parque do Gafanhoto in Divinópolis. The event features 50 registered athletes from various cities in Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro, with ages ranging from 6 to 66 years old.

Competitors will be divided into several categories, including Female, Beginner (up to 13 years), Amateur (14 to 29 years), Master (30 to 44 years), and Legend (45 years and older). The competition includes two participants with disabilities. Each athlete will perform three 45-second runs, with rankings determined by their best score based on difficulty, execution, creativity, style, and fluidity.

As part of a social initiative, each registered athlete is required to donate two liters of milk during registration.
