Brazil sees thousands of job openings announced for July 31, 2026
On July 31, 2026 a wave of public‑sector job listings was released across Brazil. The municipal Service Municipal de Intermediação de Mão de Obra (Simm) in Salvador posted 389 vacancies, while the State Employment Agency (Sine) in Araxá announced 488 openings and Sine Manaus offered 659 positions. The PAT office in Araras, São Paulo, listed dozens of roles ranging from auxiliary general and serralheiro to driver and young‑apprentice positions. In Divinópolis, the Integrated Employment Unit (UAI) required candidates to schedule an online appointment before attending in person for job‑matching services. A construction‑sector mutirão in Salvador and Lauro de Freitas provided trades jobs such as electrician, painter, mason and carpenter.
All listings stipulated that applicants present original identification, work‑permit documents and, where required, COVID‑19 vaccination proof. Several agencies (Simm, Sine Manaus) also offered hybrid attendance options via WhatsApp for certain positions.
