Divinópolis sets August 31 deadline for 2027 early childhood school registration

The deadline for parents and guardians in Divinópolis to register for the 2027 Early Childhood Education School Registry ends on August 31. The digital registration process is managed by the Municipal Secretariat of Education (Semed) through the city's official website.

Semed officials expect approximately 3,000 applicants. The registry is used to dimension the municipal network, open new classes, and organize available spots. Andreia Carla Ferreira, head of the Municipal Secretariat of Education, noted that timely registration ensures families have a better chance of being allocated to a school closest to their address, whereas late registrations depend solely on remaining vacancies.

The official list of results and placement guidance is scheduled to be released starting November 16.
