Divorced parents Andi and Marion navigate shared custody in German comedy “Alles Fifty Fifty”

Alles Fifty Fifty”, a new German comedy premiering on SAT.1, follows Andi (played by Moritz Bleibtreu) and Marion (played by Laura Tonke), a happily divorced couple who raise their eleven‑year‑old son Milan on a fifty‑fifty basis. The series shows the limits of their arrangement when Milan produces a disturbing drawing of a boy shooting a girl, prompting the school to point out a “gap” in the parents’ upbringing.

Faced with the school’s warning, the trio heads to a tropical summer vacation, confronting the challenges of co‑parenting while the show mixes chaotic humor with serious moments. The screenplay was written and directed by Iranian filmmaker Alireza Golafshan, who has previously earned awards such as the Bavarian Film Prize.
