Divya Mittal's JanNiti Bharat to contest all 403 Uttar Pradesh seats

Former Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Divya Mittal has announced that her political party, JanNiti Bharat, intends to contest all 403 constituencies in the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

Mittal made the declaration during a public engagement in Chunar, Mirzapur. She stated that the party will field candidates in all seats where strong candidates can be identified, specifically confirming a candidate will run in Chunar.

Having taken voluntary retirement from the civil services after a 13-year career, Mittal described her mission as establishing ‘people’s rule’ through a governance model centered on citizen needs rather than traditional political maneuvering. She emphasized that the party aims to make people central to policymaking to ensure government accountability throughout their terms.
