Dix pour cent celebrates ten years of success
The French television series ‘Dix pour cent’ (Call My Agent!) is celebrating its tenth anniversary. Originally broadcast on France 2, the show became a cult success, exploring the lives of talent agents and their celebrity clients. Despite initial skepticism from industry professionals regarding its potential success, the series achieved high viewership, often reaching 4.5 million viewers per episode.
Producer Dominique Besnehard revealed that actress Sophie Marceau was approached to appear in the first or second episodes but declined. Besnehard noted that Marceau’s decision was understandable given her high public profile and the fact that she was grieving the loss of her mother at the time.
The series, which concluded after four seasons, is set to see a continuation through an upcoming film featuring the original cast.
