Diyarbakır mobile social services reach over 10,000 citizens

The Diyarbakır Family and Social Services Provincial Directorate has provided guidance to more than 10,000 citizens through its Mobile Social Service Center project. The initiative aims to increase the effectiveness of social services by bringing assistance directly to the people in both urban centers and rural or disadvantaged areas.

Operating in locations such as the Sanat Sokağı in the Yenişehir district and local neighborhood markets, the mobile unit provides information on various support programs. Key areas of focus include the Project to Support Getting Married Youth, family counseling, social integration counseling, family education programs, and training related to Turkey’s fight against addiction.

Ali Sait Çeçen, the Provincial Director of Family and Social Services, stated that the goal is to identify needs on-site and direct citizens to appropriate social service models. The project continues to use informative posters and brochures to reach wider audiences and ensure services are delivered to the right people at the right time.
