Diyarbakır sports leaders call for infrastructure and economic support

Local leaders and sports commentators in Diyarbakır are calling for long-term solutions to support the city's football clubs. President Baydemir emphasized the need for permanent solutions regarding the infrastructure, facilities, and economic requirements of all local clubs, specifically highlighting Diyarbakırspor. He urged local governments and relevant institutions to take responsibility for supporting clubs throughout the season rather than just on match days.

Sports commentator Zülküf Yakut also addressed the city's football landscape, noting the contrast between Amedspor's performance in the Süper Lig and the management and field struggles facing Diyarbakırspor. Yakut stressed that sustainable success requires long-term sports policies, institutional stability, and investment in youth academies rather than temporary fixes.
