Diyarbakır to host second Tuning Fest at Nevruz Park

The second Tuning Fest is scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 20, at Nevruz Park in the Bağcılar neighborhood of the Bağlar district in Diyarbakır. The event, which runs from 12:00 to 19:00, aims to bring together modified vehicle enthusiasts from Diyarbakır and surrounding provinces.

Approximately 210 vehicles have applied for the event so far. Due to high demand, the registration deadline was extended to midnight on September 12. The competition will feature three categories judged by a panel: low-rider (basıklık) contests, sound system contests, and modified vehicle contests. Winners are expected to receive plaques or medals.

Mehmet Beşir Yalçın, Vice President of the Diyarbakır Car Lovers Association, emphasized that the event is entirely volunteer-based, involving local artists and dance groups who are participating of their own volition. Following the conclusion of the festival, participants plan to attend an Amed Sportif Faaliyetler match. The organizing committee expressed gratitude to the Diyarbakır Governor's Office for supporting the event.
