Diyarbakır waterfalls attract year-round visitors

The Yabanardı and Şeyhandede waterfalls in the Çermik district of Diyarbakır continue to attract visitors throughout all four seasons. Tourists visit these sites both individually and through organized travel and tour clubs to experience the region's historical and natural beauty.

Ali Alioğlu, an official from the Tigris Bicycle and Nature Sports Club, stated that regular nature activities aim to promote Diyarbakır's natural, historical, and cultural values while raising awareness for their preservation. These activities, including nature walks, help introduce lesser-known natural sites and support healthy lifestyles.

The Diyarbakır King's Road serves as a significant cultural and nature route where history and nature intersect. The section within Diyarbakır's borders consists of approximately 351 kilometers divided into 32 different stages. This route allows visitors to experience ancient structures, old paths, valleys, canyons, bridges, and rural life. The Yabanardı waterfall is noted as a key natural attraction along this path, becoming particularly impressive during periods of increased rainfall.
