DJ Khaled omits Drake from favorite rappers list amid ongoing tension

During a recent outing in Paris, DJ Khaled named Jay-Z as his favorite rapper alive and listed his top five favorites as Jay-Z, Biggie Smalls, 2Pac, Nas, Kendrick Lamar, and Rick Ross. Notably, Drake was absent from the list despite their long history of collaborations.

The omission follows recent tensions between the two artists. On the track ‘Make Them Pay’ from his ‘Iceman’ project, Drake criticized Khaled regarding his silence on the situation in Palestine. Drake’s lyrics questioned Khaled’s stance, stating, ‘I’m seein’ everyone’s true colors, for real, I’m sensin’ a theme.’

While Fat Joe has reportedly attempted to broker peace between the two, the relationship remains strained following the public callout.
