DJ Moore records 100 yards in Buffalo Bills debut

Buffalo Bills wide receiver DJ Moore delivered a standout debut in a 36-31 victory over the Houston Texans. Acquired via trade from the Chicago Bears, Moore recorded five receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown. His performance made him only the second player in Bills franchise history to record triple-digit receiving yards in a debut, joining John Brown, who achieved the feat in 2019.

Moore’s impact was highlighted during a rapid 90-second offensive drive where he accounted for 122 yards through three catches and a 46-yard pass interference penalty. Quarterback Josh Allen, who threw for 334 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for two more, worked closely with Moore to establish an immediate rapport. Bills head coach Joe Brady, who previously served as Moore’s offensive coordinator with the Carolina Panthers, expressed confidence in the new addition.
