DJ Padre Guilherme launches European tour, clears parish debt

Portuguese priest and DJ Guilherme Peixoto, known as DJ Padre Guilherme, is set to begin a Central‑Eastern European concert tour. The first stop will be the Ergo Arena on the Gdańsk‑Sopot border in Poland on 15 August, where he will headline the "Prosta Droga do Boga – Być jak św. Maksymilian" festival.

His recent performances have taken him across Europe and Latin America, including a recent concert in Caxinas, Portugal. Revenues from his shows have allowed him to repay his parish’s debt in 2024. Peixoto says his electronic‑music sets serve as evangelisation, often featuring excerpts from Pope John Paul II and Mother Teresa. He also plans larger public concerts in Lisbon and Madrid in 2026.
