DJ Spinderella reunites with Salt-N-Pepa for upcoming tour

Deidra ‘DJ Spinderella’ Roper is reuniting with Salt-N-Pepa members Cheryl ‘Salt’ James and Sandra ‘Pepa’ Denton for the upcoming North American Iconic Tour. This marks the group’s first full tour together since a professional split in 2019.

The reconciliation follows years of public friction, including Roper’s dismissal via email in 2019 and subsequent legal disputes over unpaid royalties and contract claims, which ended in a confidential settlement. Roper also previously criticized the group’s Lifetime biopic for excluding her contributions.

Roper stated that the trio is currently in a ‘good space’ and describes their bond as a ‘sisterhood’ that has endured both good and bad times. The Iconic Tour will feature Salt-N-Pepa co-headlining with TLC, with En Vogue appearing as special guests. The group was also recently inducted into the NAACP Image Awards Hall of Fame.
