DJ Ötzi celebrates 25th wedding anniversary

Austrian singer DJ Ötzi, born Gerhard Friedle, celebrated his 25th wedding anniversary by sharing personal photos on Instagram. The images include snapshots from his 2001 wedding in his birthplace, St. Johann in Tirol, with his wife, Sonja Kien.

The couple met in 2000 at a disco owned by Kien's mother. Friedle noted in his post, “Vor 25 Jahren haben wir Ja gesagt. Ich würd’s heute sofort wieder tun,” expressing that he would marry her again today.

The singer's daughter, Lisa-Marie Friedle, has followed in her father's musical footsteps. The 23-year-old collaborated with him on the 2024 song “Ein Licht,” marking a professional connection alongside their family bond.
