Djarum Foundation named Sports Industry of The Year 2026

The Djarum Foundation has been named ‘Sports Industry of The Year 2026’ at the Indonesia Sports Awards. The award was presented by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Erick Thohir, during the Indonesia Sports Summit 2026 held at the Jakarta International Convention Centre on Friday, September 11, 2026.

Minister Thohir recognized the foundation for its sustainable programs and significant contributions to the national sports industry. He emphasized that the development of Indonesian sports requires synergy between the government and various stakeholders to increase national achievements and popularize sports across the country.

Roberto Hartono, Director of the Djarum Foundation, accepted the award. He noted that the foundation’s involvement in sports, which began with badminton, has spanned 57 years. He also highlighted recent efforts to support women's football through the development of the Supersoccer Arena.
