Djavan musical to tour Campinas and Salvador in 2026

The musical production ‘Djavan – Vidas pra Contar: O Musical’ is scheduled to tour Brazilian cities in late 2026. The show will perform at the Teatro Castro Mendes in Campinas on October 8 and 9, and at the Concha Acústica of the Teatro Castro Alves in Salvador on October 31 and November 1.

Produced by Turbilhão de Ideias, the production has received eight nominations for the 13th Bibi Ferreira Award, including Best Brazilian Musical. Actor Raphael Elias, who was selected from over 250 candidates to portray the singer at various stages of his life, holds two nominations: Best Actor in Musicals and Musical Revelation.

The two-hour performance integrates music, theater, and dance to narrate the life and career of the renowned Brazilian singer-songwriter. The repertoire features songs from nearly 30 albums, including hits such as ‘Oceano’, ‘Um Amor Puro’, and ‘Luanda’. The musical direction is led by João Viana and Fernando Nunes.
