Djed Spence nears Inter Milan return for Parma match

Djed Spence is nearing a return to action for Inter Milan following an injury sustained during the pre-season. The English wing-back is expected to rejoin group training next week, with the goal of being available for the match against Parma on October 10.

Inter manager Cristian Chivu intends to utilize Spence as a tactical asset rather than a direct substitute for Diouf. While Diouf has been effective in his role, Spence offers distinct characteristics, including defensive solidity and the ability to play on both flanks.

One proposed tactical shift involves deploying Spence on the left wing. This maneuver would allow Dimarco to rest and enable Carlos Augusto to rotate with Bastoni in the left defensive role, providing Chivu with greater squad depth and flexibility to adapt to different opponents.
