Djed Spence transfers from Tottenham to Inter Milan

Djed Spence has officially transferred from Tottenham Hotspur to Inter Milan for a fee of 35 million euros. The 26-year-old English defender joins the reigning Italian champions to replace Denzel Dumfries, who was sold to Real Madrid.

Spence, who previously played in Italy for Genoa, expressed his excitement about joining the prestigious club, stating, “I was definitely attracted by the history. It is a really great club. This is a big step for me and my family.”

Tottenham Hotspur honored the player upon his departure, acknowledging his contribution to their Europa League success and designating him as “Legacy Number 866” in the club’s history. Under manager Cristian Chivu, Spence is expected to provide versatility across the flanks as Inter seeks to defend its title.
